Katy Depot Women's Waiting Room History
The Women's waiting room was a spacious well lit area that provided women both privacy and security especially those traveling alone or with children. The room afforded expansive picture-window views in several directions. Its large fireplace was graced by an elaborately covered mantel. Today the room serves as a special event space.

Our event room is an excellent choice for holiday parties, family reunions, bridal or baby showers, wedding rehearsal dinners, birthday or anniversary parties, group or club meetings, and corporate presentations or business meetings! Our facility can comfortably accommodate up to 40 people. Our rental fee includes the use of up to 40 folding chairs and 10 six-foot folding tables, as well as free admission to the Depot's historical exhibits for your guests. We offer ADA accessible facilities and restrooms, a food prep area, and ample parking around the facility.
